Ocean Infinity is seeking a multi-disciplinary Subsea Engineer for IMR and LCV works.

 

Work Country: Worldwide

Work Location: Remote/Hybrid

Division / Department: Operations 

Reports to: Subsea Engineering Manager

 

What will you do:

  • Plan and execute offshore subsea tasks;
  • Furnish deckplans, taskplans and method documentation for offshore subsea activities;
  • Take part in IMR and LCV projects as a mechanical designer;
  • Design and verify solutions through technical studies and testing;
  • Be an integral part of all aspects of projects development and engineering resource in ongoing projects;
  • Be acquainted with the Ocean Infinity portfolio of services and solutions;
  • Be a corner stone in the continued development of the Subsea Engineering department in Ocean Infinity.

 

Who you are:

  • Engineering degree, Msc or Bsc, within a relevant discipline such as: Mechanical/Hydraulics, Process / Energy, Mechatronics or Design and Development;
  • Analytical problem solver;
  • Minimum 3 years of work within offshore subsea operations;
  • Development of method statements, taskplans and liftplans;
  • Development of mechanical solutions for offshore topside and/or subsea projects;
  • Experience with 3D design software – Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks are preferred;
  • Experience with marine and offshore operations standards and guidelines;
  • Comfortable with working in a multidisciplinary project environment with high pace and clear deadlines;
  • Ability to handle demanding engineering tasks in parallel projects;
  • Ability to work in an international environment and projects;
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English;
  • Practical experience with common IT tools such as office package and Teams;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Critical thinking and ability to show initiative.
