The role

Due to great customer traction for our products, we are currently growing our team and are looking for software developers to design, build and grow our platform of cloud services for managing our autonomous operations. You will be a part of our proficient and strong development teams to help us achieve our vision of developing the autonomous future.

 

The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable services in the cloud;
  • Document development and perform code reviews;
  • Contributing to team meetings, troubleshooting development and production problems;
  • Participate in meetings with product owners and project managers to maintain and further develop our platform.

 

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field of study/or equivalent working experience;
  • Experience with development in preferably a cloud environment;
  • Familiar with agile development methodologies;
  • Creative and eager to find solutions and get results;
  • Curious and dedicated, using learning as motivation to progress and grow;
  • Good team player, but also brilliant on their own;
  • Proficient in English.

 

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of one of the API/micro services platforms;
  • Knowledge of API design and development for the cloud as well as on-premises environment;
  • Open to work in a setting with teams and colleagues from different countries;
  • Interest or experience in AI/ML applied for enterprise systems and processes;
  • Python, Docker, JavaScript, Kotlin, REST, C/C++ knowledge;
  • Conversational Romanian and Hungarian.

 

Compliance:

  • Complies with Ocean Infinity management system policies, all OIMS practices, programs, and procedures;
  • Successfully completes required training as identified by OIMS and the management team;
  • Participates in the OIMS by reporting events, attending meetings and workshops, reporting problems, and recommending improvements, and other related activities;
  • Informs an Ocean Infinity Supervisor, Team Lead, or Manager of any unidentified risks, hazards, or system deficiencies in the workplace;
  • Supports Ocean Infinity’s environmental and social goals.
