Ocean Infinity is seeking a Software Developer focused more on C++ side than blueprints. We create both real-time representation and simulated environments targeting marine operations that work with remote control/supervision features and automation using 3D as the basis for most applications.

Reports to: Software Engineering Team Leader

What will you do:

• Develop products using technologies such as Unreal Engine 4, C++, .Net C#, Python, among others;
• Help design architecture for systems and solutions for technically complex products;
• Follow development and quality best practices, but be critical if you believe they can be improved.

Who you are:

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology;
• +2 years of experience as a software engineer targeting C++;
• Experience with Unreal Engine;

• Strong communication skills;
• Ability to work well in a team and independently;
• Critical thinking and ability to show initiative;

• Fluency in English (speaking and writing) – B1 level minimum;

• Interested in the others and strives for the best for the team;
• Ability to take ownership and engagement in the work;
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong communication skills;
• Driven, proactive and able to work autonomously with little supervision towards the company’s purpose;
• Critical thinking and ability to show initiative;
• Open and receptive to new and different ideas;
• Ability to work well in a team and independently;
• Enthusiastic about protecting people and the planet.

Desirable:  

• Experience with simulation software;
• Experience with other 3D Game Engines;
• Experience developing with visual scripting alongside with C++.
