Ocean Infinity is seeking a Software Developer with experience in Service-Oriented Architectures and Microservices Architectures, who will collaborate with the team in designing/implementing architectures for different solutions, document and ensure best practices are followed and that product quality exceeds expectations.

 

Work location: Remote, Hybrid or Office

Work country: Romania, Portugal, UK

Division / Department: Software

Reports to: Software Engineering Team Leader

 

What will you do:

  • Develop and review technically complex products based on SOA/Microservices;
  • Document software and processes as needed;
  • Follow development and quality best practices, but be critical if you believe they can be improved;
  • Implement the integration of different systems, current solutions and identify opportunities for improvements;
  • Implement API’s/Services;
  • Develop products using technologies such as .Net C#, Unreal Engine, Python, among others.

 

Who you are:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology;
  • Experience with Service-Oriented Architectures and Microservices Architectures;
  • Experience developing applications/products in Azure Cloud;
  • Experience working with complex data structures;
  • Knowledge of .Net C#, Python, Powershell;
  • Experience implementing scalable API and services;
  • Interested in the others and strives for the best for the team;
  • Ability to take ownership and engagement in the work;
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Driven, proactive and able to work autonomously with little supervision towards the company’s purpose;
  • Critical thinking and ability to show initiative;
  • Open and receptive to new and different ideas;
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently;
  • Enthusiastic about protecting people and the planet.

 

Desirable:  

  • Advances knowledge of Git;
  • Experience working with real time data;
  • Experience with CI/CD;
  • Experience working with game engines (e.g. Unreal Engine).
