Ocean Infinity is seeking a Senior Data Processor who will report to the Data Processing Manager and work within the data processing department whilst being responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of data processing work, including assisting with acquisition, processing, reporting and training.

What will you do:
- Independently process data from acquisition to final product;
- Carry out any work involved in project preparation in collaboration with the Data Processing Advisor and Project Report Coordinator;
- Coordinate the data processing team and assign tasks to the data processing team according to the OC or PRC’s instructions;
- Actively communicate with the project management to ensure data acquisition meets project requirements;
- Ensure project requirements are fulfilled on all deliverables;
- Assist the Data Processing Advisor in ensuring that processing routines are continuously reviewed with respect to efficiency and quality;
- Provide clear guidance to other Data Processors on workflows and procedures for Data Processing work;
- Ensure the processing logs are properly utilised and modified as per need;
- Work within the Project group to assist with reporting;
- Participate in OI’s internal equipment and software development;
- Sign off relevant mobilisation and calibration results, data deliverables, and report contents;
- Make decisions regarding deviations to the daily workflow and/or final product, in consensus with the project management.
Who you are:
- Fulfil the Ocean Infinity requirements for a Senior Data Processor based on the IMCA guidelines;
- At least 20+ projects experience in an offshore survey environment as a Data Processor;
- At least 5+ years’ relevant experience as a data processor within an offshore survey environment;
- Demonstrated experience of a variety of survey types whilst working alongside numerous Asset operators, and survey contractors. Examples of the most relevant survey types include, but are not limited to, geophysical survey, visual/acoustic pipeline inspection survey and cable tracking survey;
- Thorough understanding of the most common data processing software used throughout the offshore industry, with particular focus on EIVA NaviEdit/NaviModel, Teledyne CARIS and QPS Qimera;
- Experience with the most common post processing software used within the offshore industry. Examples of these may include, but are not limited to, Sonardyne Janus, iXblue DELPH and Applanix POSPac;
- Strong understanding of quality management such as standards, regulations and applicable policies and procedures;
- Good practical experience with office tools: MS Office, Google Drive, Teams, e-mail, among others;
- Thoughtful, thorough and conscientious;
- Interested in others and strives to act in the best interests of the team;
- Ability to take ownership and engagement in the work;
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong leadership skills;
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills;
- Strong communication skills;

Desirable:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, at a minimum, in hydrography, geology (Marine, Quaternary, Bedrock, etc) or oceanography.
