Ocean Infinity is seeking a hard working and organised individual to become our new Receptionist at our facility in Woolston, Southampton, providing a warm and welcoming first impression. The role works closely with the Office Manager and reports to the Facilities Lead being an integral part of the business, with an important client facing role.

Reports to: Global Real Estate and Facilities Lead


What will you do:

  • Greeting and welcoming all clients and guests as soon as they arrive to site;
  • Coordinating the sign in & out process on the InVentry system, issuing the printed visitor badges, notifying the host of the guests arrival and inducting the visitor on our Health and Safety procedures;
  • Answering incoming calls in a professional manner and dealing with them accordingly;
  • Organising travel and accommodation when requested;
  • Assisting with meeting room requests and availability;
  • Dealing with general visitor and Front of House enquiries;
  • Receiving, sorting and distributing daily deliveries/mail accordingly;
  • Delivering exceptional customer service;
  • Ensuring that both Reception and the Front of House areas are kept clean, tidy and presentiable at all times;
  • Supporting the Office Manager as and when needed.


Who you are:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Receptionist or in a Front of House role;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Thoughtful, thorough and conscientious;
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently;
  • Enthusiastic about protecting people and the planet;
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with diplomacy;
  • Good practical experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint and Teams.
