Project Report Coordinator (Onshore position) -

MMT, part of Ocean Infinity, is seeking a Project Report Coordinator (Onshore position). 

As a Project Report Coordinator (PRC) you will be an essential part of our project team. The purpose of the Project RC is to ensure that high quality reporting is produced in an efficient manner and according to the client specifications and requirements, within the given time frame and project budget. The Project RC is to coordinate the post processing, reporting, charting and GIS production and QA with a maintained continuity throughout the project.

Division / Department: Project Department 

Reports to: Head of Project Department 


The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the report deliveries are finalized and delivered according to time schedule and specifications.
  • Ensure that process flows are followed and that they are adequate for the project and adjusted if needed.
  • Ensure the data and deliveries are Quality Checked.
  • Review project scope, plan the reporting work, and set up a time line for the different stages of the processing and reporting.
  • Manage the reporting project tasks to optimize the timings between the stages.
  • Estimate personnel requirements and timing for when personnel is needed in each project.
  • Match the planning with the project budget.
  • Gather the project reporting group at least once a week for status meeting.
  • Participate in project meetings, internal and external, have a good knowledge of the results, and be prepared to present and discuss the results representing MMT’s view.
  • Review tender specifications with regards to processing and reporting and provide information on compliance or deviations.
  • Provide time calculations with regards to processing and reporting, for tenders.


Person Specification:

  • The Project RC has thorough knowledge and experience of data processing and reporting of marine survey information.
  • Has a good understanding of how the data will be used by the client and the requirements associated with that use.
  • Has a good understanding of project management and coordination.
  • Has skills in leading others.
