Ocean Infinity is seeking a person with extensive knowledge in planned maintenance systems. As a new shipowner the importance of planned maintenance and building and maturing a system that will work to keep all our assets working and generating income is vital. We have chosen and have started implementing the software DNV Ship manager and we need one focused role on this system by inputting data, working with fleet support officers to make and track changes and also hold all the user rights to make sure the system is in their control and kept in a clean state.

What will you do:
- Take the lead in building a planned maintenance system for our ships and all assets installed on the ships;
- Inputting data;
- Keep track of inventories using the software from onshore facilities to the ships themselves;
- Ensure all failure reporting is done properly and shared with the relevant parties to inform clients;
- Good dialogue with the Vessel managers, Payload managers and Fleet support officers to ensure data inputs are done correctly and kept clean;
- Set up processes and procedures for changes and data entries;
- Take control of user rights and making sure all changes or data entries are approved;
- Building equipment trees and connected spare parts and maintenance plans;
- Ensuring offshore and onshore teams are using the system and reminding people of overdue tasks and maintenance;
- Ensuring data entries are complete and easy for crews to understand;
- Overall in charge of the software;
- Overseeing the link to our procurement system netsuite to the Planned maintenance system. Order management;
- Inputting budgets and cost centres for teams to work off for order management;
- Use the Analyser tool to generate reports for the leadership teams;
- Reports into Mobilisation and Maintenance Lead.
Who you are:
- Has worked with and is familiar with planned maintenance systems;
- Proficient on a computer for data entries;
- Good understanding of marine systems;
- Some knowledge of ROV’s and AUV’s would be beneficial but not a requirement;
- Strong understanding of quality management such as standards, regulations and applicable policies and procedures;
- Good practical experience with office tools: MS Office, Google Drive, Teams, e-mail, among others;
- Thoughtful, thorough and conscientious;
- Interested in others and strives to act in the best interests of the team;
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong communication skills;
- Driven, proactive and able to work autonomously with little supervision towards the company’s purpose;
- Ability to work well in a team and independently;
- Enthusiastic about protecting people and the planet.
Desirable:
- Experience working with and knows DNV Ship manager software which is our planned maintenance system so they can step in and know what needs to be done without any further training on Ship manager.
- Experience in a few types of planned maintenance systems;
- Experience in building databases from scratch could be beneficial for this role;
- An understanding of order management in a planned maintenance system would be beneficial.
