OLIVER PLUNKETT

Oliver is Ocean Infinity’s CEO. Over a 20 year career, he has had a variety of leadership roles managing large teams as well as complex and high-value transactions and projects. At the beginning of his working life, he practised as a Barrister and also trained with one of the Big 4 accounting firms.

MELANIE SMITH

Melanie is Ocean Infinity’s Operations Director. Melanie is responsible for the overall operations of the company including oversight of partner service delivery, optimising vessel and equipment utilisation and managing end to end execution of our services. She has over 10 years’ experience in the marine exploration and recovery industry.

JOSHUA BROUSSARD

Joshua is Ocean Infinity's Technical Director. He has over 10 years’ experience in managing onshore and offshore engineering projects for major oil and gas and marine companies. His early career provided experience as an automation/controls technician working onshore and offshore installations. He has held leadership roles on previous projects for the development of unmanned environmental remediation systems, ROV systems, distributed communication systems, and robotic equipment installations.

MARKO DJUKIC

Marko is Ocean Infinity's Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for the technology infrastructure, looking after the offshore private cloud and the onshore technology. He has worked with some of the world’s largest asset managers to deploy their cloud platforms, solve interesting challenges across trading, cybersecurity, grid computing, machine learning, and big data.

Our exceptional team is comprised of highly experienced members in robotics and hydrography across different sectors from Oil & Gas to Naval.

Swire Seabed AS supplies the host vessel and is responsible for project management, survey support, processing and reporting. Swire Seabed is focused on providing a highly flexible range of integrated subsea services including IMR, subsea construction, subsea engineering and seabed survey to both the Oil & Gas and renewables sectors.

Swire Seabed owns and maintains a fleet of three modern, versatile multi-purpose subsea vessels and broad range of high specification ROVs, ensuring delivery of cutting edge practical expertise to the offshore energy industry worldwide.

ARVID PETTERSEN

Arvid is the CEO at Swire Seabed. He joined the Norwegian Hydrographic Service as a hydrographic surveyor and received his formal training from Royal Navy Hydrographic School in Plymouth, UK. He has extensive experience in offshore mapping, managing survey projects, and business development. He was the Project Manager for Geoconsult’s first AUV, pioneering commercial use of AUV technology.

JAN ARVID INGULFSEN

Jan Arvid is the Senior Advisor Survey & AUV Operations at Swire Seabed and has more than 30 years of experience within the survey industry. He has been a manager for a team of specialists using ROVs, Hugin AUVs, and hull-mounted systems for detailed seabed mapping and inspection. He maintains a special focus on developing tools for the processing of multi-beam echo sounder data in connection with pipeline inspection.

JAKE KLARA

Jake Klara is the Commercial Manager of Ocean Infinity with 40 years of extensive experience in comprehensive commercial, technical and operational endeavors. His accomplishments include involvement and leadership in the development of STARFIX, the first commercial satellite positioning system, the introduction of the first commercially viable AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) and leadership in the development of Unmanned Surface Vehicles.

FRODE GAUPAS

Frode is the COO at Swire Seabed AS and has over 20 years’ experience with ROV’s and AUV’s completing subsea operations. Prior to joining Swire Seabed AS he worked offshore operating WROV and AUV systems, then moved onshore as Project Engineer and then Project Manager.
